4th edition of YTAT Young Textile Art Triennial!

On October 7th 2022 the jury of the Young Textile Art Triennial held its meeting at the Municipal Art Gallery in Lodz. Members of the jury panel: Ms Hella Jongerius (Germany), Ms Dorota Stępniak (Poland), Ms Janis Jefferies (Great Britain), Ms Jessica Hemmings (Great Britain), Ms Aleksandra Gaca (Holland).

As a result of several reviews of the works the Jury agreed to award four equivalent prizes in three categories:

In the category of textile art:

The Award of The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for Maria Pilm (Pallas University of Applied Sciences, Tartu, Estonia) for the work titled „Inequality in the Smart Society on the Example of Generations. Tapestry”

In the category of textile art:

The Award of The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for Jonatan Jukowski (Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Władysława Strzemińskiego w Łodzi) for the work titled “Mandorla for the Earth”

In the category of textile design:

The Award of The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for Zuzanna Wójcik (University of Borås - The Swedish School of Textiles) for the work titled “Soft or Not”.

In the interdisciplinary category:

The Award of The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for Renata Ramola – Piórkowska (Akademia Sztuki w Szczecinie) for the work titled “Tomorrow. The Fabrics made with seeds”.
